Jan has received the following letter from the Festival of Trees Committee
On behalf of the organizing committee of the County Festival of Trees, we would like to thank you most sincerely for your generosity. Your contribution to the Festival was greatly appreciated, and was auctioned for $ 95.00.
As you may know, the Ontario government does not fund hospital equipment, and so all the monies raised at the Festival will go directly to our Picton hospital for the purchase of a new defibrillator and a heart monitor for the ?Heart Start? program.
We hope that you will not mind our thanking you by e-mail rather than through a letter. The money we save in postal costs (almost $200.00) will go instead into the ?Heart Start? fund.
We do want you to know, however, that your contribution is vitally important to us and that the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is happy and proud to count on your support.

Rena is looking after this years Festival of Trees and as always has come up with a great idea.

Rena has painted three large central stars and our members are asked to paint a smaller star with a design of their choice.
